GARDEN CITY – The TMP-Marian boys golf team opened their season with an 8th place finish at the Holcomb/Garden City Golf Invite at Buffalo Dunes. The Monarchs shot a 376, 51 shots behind first place South Gray (325).
Junior Pake Dewey led the Monarchs with a 5-over par 77 and tied for sixth, one shot out of finishing in a tie for first.
Scott City’s Jackson Rumford along with Bryson Parker and Jordan Riddle of Turpin, Okla., Cameron Wahl of South Gray and Gavin Schumacher of Elkhart all tied for first with rounds of 76.
