JUNCTION CITY — Geary Community Hospital Trustees have selected Bill Overbey to serve as the new interim chief executive officer of Geary Community Hospital.
Overbey, a Topeka resident, previously served as the CEO with Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital of Topeka until he retired in March. Prior to that, he served as the chief financial officer for Hays Medical Center for more than 13 years. Overbey began his health care career as the CFO at Geary Community Hospital from 1991 to 2001.
Overbey will serve in his new interim capacity to help Geary Community Hospital through the transition to Stormont Vail Health Jan. 1.
