ELLIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Monday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Austin Kyle Starks, 26, Hutchinson, was southbound on Commerce Parkway at Interstate 70.
The SUV struck a 2015 Lexus RX350 driven by Carter Ridgely Harrison, 77, Prairie Village, who was exiting and traveling across. Vehicle one struck vehicle two.
EMS transported Starks to Hays Medical Center. Harrison and a passenger were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
