Kelly Vinton Burgess, age 66, passed away on November 2, 2020, at the 
Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center. He was born on May 7, 
1954, the son of Ivan &amp; Laura (Rush) Burgess. Kelly worked as a 
school administrator for many years.
 He was preceded in death by his father Ivan.
 He is survived by his wife Becky of the home; his daughter Emily 
(Ben) Hoshko of Smith Center; 2 sons Vinton (Leah) Burgess of Concordia 
and Caleb (Kathryn) of Colorado Springs; 7 grandchildren; his mother 
Laura of Smith Center; 2 brothers Larry (Judy) Burgess of Smith Center 
and Ted (Eileen) Burgess of Kenyon, MN.
