👟 FHSU ranked nationally entering final week of regular season

NEW ORLEANS - Both Fort Hays State track and field teams remain ranked in the USTFCCCA National Rating Index heading into the final weekend of the regular season, released Tuesday. The women now rank 18th in the country, while the men are 22nd in the latest set of rankings.

The men moved up one spot in the region rankings, now sitting in third amongst teams from the MIAA, NSIC and GAC conferences. The women are sixth in the region, while both teams now rank fourth in the MIAA power rankings.

The Tigers have achieved 27 NCAA Division II provisional performances, including 21 that rank in the top 20 nationally.

The Tigers are next scheduled to compete at the Loper Twilight next Saturday in Kearney, Neb. before heading to Allendale, Mich. May 26-28 for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.
