Patricia Ann 'Woolie' Wooldridge, age 79, of Hays, Kansas passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at HaysMed. She was born on July 15, 1946 in Hays to Charles and Frances (Bollig) Wooldridge. Patricia graduated from Marion High in 1964 and earned a degree in Interior Design.

Patricia owned Pat’s Painting and Decorating for many years. She became the go-to-contractor for almost every major commercial building in the area. She was also a talented musician and vocalist participating in several local bands playing the banjo, keyboards and drums. These bands included Brenda’s Trio, Kay Fisher Band and her family band, the Graveltown Hillbillies.

She was also an avid bowler participating at the state and national levels. Pat was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Eagle’s and the VFW Auxiliary.

Pat will be remembered for her big heart and an even bigger personality who would instantly become the life of the party.

Survivors include her siblings, Charles Wooldridge (Nancy) of Scottsville, Kentucky, Phillip Wooldridge of Hays, Frances 'Tudy' Wooldridge of Hays, Pamela Driskill (Roy) of Hays, Bruce Wooldridge (Elonda) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Brian Wooldridge (Annette) of Hays, and Nancy Schlyer (Skip) of Hays; a special niece, Heather as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sharon Gottschalk (Ralph), Mary 'Flossy' Winters (Kenneth) and Barbara Obholz (Joseph).

Funeral services were January 30, 2025, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hays with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Services in care of Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.
