MEDICINE LODGE - The TMP-Marian volleyball season came to and end in the opening round of the Medicine Lodge Class 2A Sub-State Tournament. The Monarchs lost to fellow Mid-Continent League member Oakley in two sets 25-21, 25-19.
TMP-Marian had advanced to Saturday's tournament by winning their own regional earlier in the week.
The Monarchs end the season at 29-14. Oakley (26-4) defeated host Medicine Lodge 15-25, 25-19, 25-9 to advance to next week's 2A State Touranment.
