The Fort Hays State women's basketball team received a commitment from a conference rival Wednesday. Nia McKenzie, who's spent the last three seasons at Washburn announced through social media that she's joining the FHSU program.
McKenzie played in 86 career games with the Ichabods including all 32 this season. The 5-11 guard out of Aurora, Colorado averaged less than two points and three rebounds per game.
