Ronald G. Boxum, 80, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center KS.
Ronald was born March 27, 1941, in Osborne County, KS, the son of
Harold and Gladys (Hofer) Boxum. On April 24, 1974, he married Theresa
Ann Reif in Smith Center, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald is survived by his wife Theresa Boxum of Lebanon; four sons,
Troy Boxum of Dallas, TX, Todd (BobbiJo) Boxum of Osborne, Robert (Kye)
Boxum of Salina, Thomas (Crystal) Boxum of Smith Center; two daughters,
Renée (Brian) Blase of Salina, Raquel Boxum of Smith Center; one
brother, Richard Boxum of Downs; two sisters, Marideen (Junior)
VanderGiesen of Smith Center, Charlotte (Bob) Michel of Downs; numerous
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8,
2022, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center,
KS, with Pastor Bob Sinclair officiating. Visitation will be held on
Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family present
to greet friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. until service
time Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Crystal
Plains Cemetery, Smith County, KS. Memorials may be given to Ronald G.
Boxum Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
