Marion Cridling Harper, age 85, died January 10, 2021, at his home in Tribune, Kansas. He was born on June 1, 1935, in Holly, Colorado, the son of Alden C. and Iva Elam Harper.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Greeley County Golf Association.
On December 27, 1956, he married Elaine Mae Stegman. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2016.
Survivors include: Four Daughters - Denise Schworm of Watkins, Colorado, Pamela Lang of Tribune, Kansas, Rhonda Simpson of Castle Rock, Colorado, Darcy Goodenough of Great Bend, Kansas; Nine grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one daughter, Mona Moritz.
There will be no calling hours.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:00 am (MST) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune with Fr. Tim Hickey presiding. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held following the mass.
Vigil services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tribune, Kansas at 6:30 pm (MST).
