Jacolyn 'Jackie' Nell Graf

Jacolyn “Jackie” Nell Graf, 81, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Brookdale Senior Living, Dodge City.

She was born on September 2, 1939, in Wilson, Kansas, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Peirano) Heard. She was a lifetime area resident and worked various different jobs including owning and operating the Bicycle Shop and the Hubble Bubble Fun Center both in Dodge City. Jackie also worked for Pernell Fabrics. She was a member of the Boothill and Front Street camping club, and the Sunflower camping club. She was very involved in Cub Scouts and Brownie Scouts.

On August 24, 1957, she married Robert Graf at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wilson, Kansas. He survives.

Survivors also include: 2 sons, Pat Graf and wife Jane, Dodge City and Scott Graf and companion Laurie Dirks, Bucklin, Kansas; one daughter, Susanna Overton, Dodge City; one sister, Lois Heard Buxton, Salina, Kansas; 2 sister-in-law’s, Mildred Dale and Patricia Robinson and husband Leroy; 13 grandchildren; and 48 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Tamara Slattery, 2 brothers, Aaron and Richard Heard, 2 sister-in-law’s, Elizabeth Heard Bonham and Norma Heard.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 2:00 pm at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, Wilson, Kansas. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
