Bobby Ray Burchfield passed away on September 3, 2020 Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, TX.
Bobby was born on December 20, 1936 to Byrd and Melvia Burchfield on a farm near Whitewright, TX. He was employed by Texas-New-Mexico Power Co for 37 years.
He married Nola Faye Bass in 1956. They later divorced.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Lewisville, TX, Daughters, Kathy (Greg) Mitchell of Germantown, WI, Janet (Tone') Gonzales of Bridgeport, TX, Kaylene (Richard) Foley of Rockport, TX
Sons, Brad (Janelle) Burchfield of Lewisville, Mark (Kandi) Zimmerman of Abilene, TX, Kevin (Mary) Zimmerman of Goodland, KS, Craig (Karen) Zimmerman of Parker, CO, Daughter-in-law, Sue Burchfield of Argyle, TX.
Sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren in addition to his brother JW(Joyce) Burchfield of Brenham, TX, his sisters Doris (Lewis) Sheridan of Paris, TX., Dorothy (Jim) Huckaby of Sherman, TX
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, son, Keith Burchfield, brother, Jimmy Burchfield, and his sister, Peggy Smith.
A memorial service will be held at Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX on Tuesday, Sept. 15th a 1:00p.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time.
Graveside services will take place on Sat. Sept. 19th at 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time) at the Goodland Cemetery in Goodland, KS.
