GARDEN CITY – The Hays High boys golf team finished third at Thursday’s Garden City Invitational at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. The Indians shot a 324 and finished nine shots behind first place Dodge City and three behind second place Garden City.
Caleb Thompson led the Indians with a 4-over-par 76 and placed third. Braiden Bickle placed seventh with an 8-over-par 80 and Trey Oakley finished eighth with an 82.
Garden City’s Maddix Shook won the individual title firing a 5-under-par 67. Dodge City’s Aiden Thompson was second with a 1-under 71.
