Christopher Colin Brassfield Jr.

Christopher Colin Brassfield Jr. of Livingston, Montana went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022. Christopher Jr. was born to Christopher Sr. and Mary (Delameter) Brassfield on May 17, 1929 in Hoxie-Studley, Kansas.

Christopher is survived by his daughter, Charise Donna Baker (Joseph), two grandchildren, Christopher (Desiree) and Amy (Stephen), and five great-grandchildren (Amanda, Dylan, Alissa, Emily, and Donna). He is also survived by two siblings, Velma Smith and Irl Brassfield. He is predeceased by his siblings Christina Burkenbine, Henry Clay Brassfield, Elmer Brassfield, Dora Kiser, Nancy Rill, Winn Brassfield, Dr. Paul Brassfield, Rose McCall, and Jane Zahn.

Christopher was raised on the Brassfield family farm in Kansas. He enlisted in the Army in 1951 and fought in the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart award for his heroic actions. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. He also loved to spend time with his family and to be at his home in Montana.
