As a high wind warning is in effect across northwestern Kansas, the City of Ellis is already experiencing power outages, according to <a href="https://outageviewer.mwenergy.com/">Midwest Energy</a>.

As of 11:05 a.m., 322 Midwest Energy customers are without electricity.&nbsp;

According to the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19jG24faJz/">National Weather Service in Dodge City</a>, peak wind gusts of 55 to 60 mph are likely, with 65 mph gusts across mainly far west central Kansas.
