Phillipsburg resident Earl Wolfe passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 87.
He was born December 10, 1933, in Phillipsburg, KS the son of Hulsa and Edna (Woofter) Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sayan; daughter Kayla Kreller; and brothers Darrel, Dean, and Keath.
Survivors include his son Kurtis of Prairie View; step-sons Pete Rogers of Phillipsburg and Sonny Rogers of Raymore, MO; a step-daughter Cher Simpson of Raymore, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating.
Mr. Wolfe will lie in state from Noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg. The casket will remain closed. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home for visitation.
