Rodney Duane Snyder

Rodney Duane Snyder, 20, Edmond, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at La Crosse, Kansas.

Duane was born May 5, 2000, in Brighton, Colorado.  He was a resident of Edmond, Kansas, for 6 years.  A 2018 graduate of Logan High School, Logan, Kansas, he was a pilot car driver for C & T Pilot Car Service, Arp, Texas.  While traveling as a pilot car driver, Duane loved being able to visit new places, and exploring zoos and museums.

He enjoyed hanging with friends at the lake, and playing X-Box.

Survivors include:  his parents, Brian and Patricia “Trish” Snyder, La Crosse, Kansas; one brother, Lloyd Snyder, Edmond, Kansas; his maternal grandparents, Rodney “Rod” and Karen Mays, Leoti, Kansas; and his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Snyder, Scott City, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Darrell Snyder.

A celebration of Duane’s life will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 4:00 P.M., at 1121 Columbia Street, La Crosse, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to the Little Rock Zoo, Little Rock, Arkansas.
