The Hays USD 489 will have its budget and revenue-neutral rate hearings during its meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at the Rockwell Administration Center.
There will be time for public comment.
The board also will discuss the the closure of Rockwell Administration Center.
The board will have a public hearing on the closure and then it is scheduled to vote on the closure.
The board has discussed selling Rockwell. It plans to renovate former Wilson Elementary School into administrative offices, with move in next fall.
Wilson closed as an elementary school this spring. Those students were moved to the newly renovated Felten Elementary School.
In other business:
• The board will consider the second reading for payroll and employee benefits revisions.
• It will consider first reading of the classified handbook.
