Violet Jane Gibson, age 97, passed away on Monday January 25, 2021, at the
Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center, KS. She was a
homemaker.
Violet was born the daughter of Homer & Ermil (Hahn) Casteel on January 25, 1924, in Smith County, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Emery; a son
Gary; 4 sisters Neva, Lucille, Tressie and Gladys and 1 brother Ray.
Survivors include her daughter Janna (Allen) Daniels of Athol, KS; a
son Jim (Janie) Gibson of Napa, ID; 5 grandchildren; 1 step grandson; 3
great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren.
