NORTON COUNTY —On person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Sunday in Norton County
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Victory motorcycle driven by Lavern L. White, 56, Oneill, NE., was southbound on U.S. 283 two miles south of U.S. 36.
The motorcycle rear-ended a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Billy T. Lowry, 25, WaKeeney, who had slowed to turn into a private drive. The Victory motorcycle rolled and the driver was ejected.
EMS transported White to the Norton County Hospital. Lowry was not transported for treatment. They were not wearing helmets, according to the KHP.
