The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported just one new case of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County since Monday.

As of Wednesday, the University of Kansas Health System reported three COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, with one active and two in the recovery phase.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,733 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths — the last of which was reported on March 10.
