Carl Eugene Hyde, age 69, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. Carl was born March 9, 1952, to Harry Carl Hyde and Donna Ruth Hyde in Norton, Kansas.
He is survived by Debbie Bond of the home; sisters Uttana May, Linda Sue, Sharon Kay, Charlotte Renee; and one brother, Gary Lee; sons, Shane Hyde and Irene Kohlrus, Hays; Derek Hyde, Stockton; Daughter Erica Bartlett, Hill City; Jeanna Helm, Oklahoma; Pamela Jordan, Coffeyville; Grandkids include Cameron Kohlrus, Wyatt Kohlrus, Hays; Garett, Gabriella, Gracianna and Grayson, Plainville; Jennifer, Hill City; Crystal, Oklahoma; Jodeci and Heaven, Coffeyville; and six great grand kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Donna Marie.
He was a life long truck driver. He drove for 25 years at Bones Transportation of Ottawa, KS and Jadansa for a few years before becoming an owner operator. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, and going to the lake.
Services will be Saturday, June 5th at 10:00 AM at Brock’s North Hill Chapel, Hays, Kansas.
