The Hays Area Planning Commission will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17 to Consider a rezoning request from Neighborhood Conservation District to
Light Industrial District for a portion of the property located at 3124 E. 27th Street.
The property is owned by Rita Gottschalk. The owner seeks to rezone the western portion of the property to allow compatible uses that would be logical for light industrial zoning due to the location and consistency with the comprehensive plan.
Commissioners will discuss setting a Sept. 21 public hearing for the rezoning request.
The meeting begins at 4 p.m. Monday in Hays City Hall, 1507 Main.
