WICHITA – The Hays High girls golf team is headed back to
the state tournament for an 18th straight season after a second
place finish at the 5A regional at Rolling Hill Country Club in Wichita Monday.

Hays finished with a total team score of 351, seven shots
back of first place Kapaun Mount Carmel. 

Abbie Norris was second individually for the Indians with a
nine-over 82. 

Evyn Cox was 6th (+14) , Ashlynn Banker 9th
(+18) and Lily Garrison 10th (+18). 

The 5A state tournament is next Monday and Tuesday at Carey
Park in Hutchinson.
