The Ellis County Health Department on Friday announced a new positive case of COVID-19 in Ellis County.
The department said the new case was identified through contact tracing from another state, and said contacts will be notified. The individual has mild symptoms, is in home isolation and is a contact of a known positive case from outside Ellis County.
The release noted the individual is not associated with the Hays Larks baseball program.
