Mary "Mick" Weimer, age 66, of Protection, Kansas, formerly of Ellis passed, away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, Kansas. She was born December 10, 1954, in Hays, Kansas, to Fred and Theresa (Hoog) Weimer.
Mick graduated from Ellis High School in 1972. She enjoyed playing guitar and had played in a rock band.
She is survived by four brothers, Don Weimer (Norma) of Hays, Eugene "Woody" Weimer (Elizabeth) of McKinney, Texas, Linus "Chub" Weimer (Wanda) of Andover, Kansas and Martin Weimer (Karla) of Ellis; three sisters, Donna Hays (Alan) of Ellis, Linda Vanderwood of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Paulette Deutscher (Gary Blessing) of Great Bend, Kansas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Weber.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellis. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements in care of Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to High Plains Mental Health Center in Hays.
