Frank Lee Simmons, 48, died May 14, 2021, at his home in Claflin, 
Kansas.&nbsp; He was born August 31, 1972, in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of 
Lawrence L. and Evelyn B. (Hofmeister) Simmons.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Claflin and had worked as a landscaper.

He is survived by a companion, Penny Kennedy of the home; son, Zack 
Gumtau and wife Alisa of the home; daughter, Kelly Simmons of Wichita; 
sisters, Ruby Simmons of Kansas City, Missouri, and Annebelle Komarek 
and husband Jason of Kearny, Missouri; and three grandchildren, 
Jeramiah, James and Nova.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 
2021, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Diana Webster 
presiding. Friends may sign the book at the funeral home, per his 
wishes, cremation has taken place.&nbsp;
