June Cecilia (Mayers) Cady, age 82, passed away October 29, 2021 in Osborne, Kansas. She was born to Cecil J. and Sophia A. (Brock) Mayers on June 1, 1939, Osborne, Kansas.
June married William C. "Bill" Cady June 8, 1957 in Osborne, Kansas.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda Miner, Edith "Billie" Boyd, and Mary Storer.
June graduated from Downs High School class of 1957.
She was a "June-of-all-trades" including owning Cady's Casual's Dress Shop, insurance agent, CNA at Osborne County Hospital, caregiver at Beloit Juvenile Facility for Girls, and custodian for Osborne Public Schools.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, yardwork, going to auctions, and spending time with her family.
Her dry sense of humor and wonderful home-cooked meals will be missed by many.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, and three sons: Trae, Tim, and Tom. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Judith A. Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Tad and daughter-in-law, Lisa and 12 grandchildren: Melany, Christopher, Zachary, Andrea, Nicholas, Boone, Ryan, Taylor, Brett, Drew, Aubrey, and Megan. and four great grandchildren: Quinton, Jeff, Leon, and Lyra and one great-great-grandchild, Huxley.
