BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State University announces Nicholas Joe Schwien of Hays has graduated following the spring 2025 semester.
Schwien graduated with a Master of Mass Communication from SDSU's College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Almost 1,500 students completed all requirements for a degree and/or certificate program. Overall, students from 34 states and 28 nations graduated following the spring 2025 semester. Nearly 70 students received two or more degrees or certificates from a college
