SALINA – The Hays High boys golf team opened their season Monday at the Salina Central Invitational at the Salina Municipal Golf Course. The Indians shot a 395 and finished in eighth place. Hutchison won the team title with a 306. Salina South finished second with a 314.
Junior Jaxon Zimmerman tied for 20th place to lead the Indians after shooting an 87.
Hutchison senior Ty Adkins won the individual title with a 68.
