Laynete Marie Mick, 78, of Osborne, KS passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Osborne County Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 21, 1943 in Salina, KS, to Peter T. & Opal M. (Hahn) Fritschen.
She graduated from high school and attended some college. She worked at the family business in Dorance, KS at the Telephone Office.
Laynete met & married the love of her life, Francis Mick. They had 4 daughters in this union. Laynete became a farmwife. Francis tended to the crops & she tended to the cattle. Laynete has been in the Osborne area since 1968 after she and Francis married and moved here.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis in 2010; 1 grandchild.
Laynete is survived by her daughters: Eileen Rolph of Delphos, KS; Marguarite Atchison of Kirwin, KS; Carolyn Nichols of Willow Lake, SD; Jolene Mick of Osborne, KS; 13 Grandchildren; 1 brother: Donald Fritschen of TX.
