KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Soccer is ranked No. 17 in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday. The Tigers moved down three spots after dropping a ranked matchup with Midwestern State last week and they played to a draw in their other contest of the week.

The Tigers were ranked No. 14 last week, but hit their first bump in the road against No. 19 Midwestern State last week in Wichita Falls. Midwestern State moved up to No. 12 this week as a result of defeating No. 14 Fort Hays State and No. 17 Southern Nazarene on its home field last week. Southern Nazarene remains with Fort Hays State as the Great American Conference's two teams represented in the Top 25. SNU moved down to No. 22 this week.

Fort Hays State will meet Southern Nazarene this week in Bethany, Okla. to start GAC play. It will be the first of two meetings between the teams this year. The Tigers will be looking for their first victory over a ranked team in a true road contest since defeating a No. 20 ranked Wisconsin-Parkside team in the Super Region 3 quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament in 2021.
