Jane D. Ball, wife of Gene R. Ball, 84, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021.

Jane graduated from High School in Ransom, Kansas in 1955 and had a passion for music.  She then graduated from the University of Kansas in 1958 with a BS in Language Arts and Secondary Education.  During her work career, Jane excelled as a Jr. High School teacher in Lindale, Texas, she worked as District Clerk with Eastman Whipstock and Hunt Energy, and she was an Office Manager with various companies.

Jane was a talented musician who used her superb Vocal and Piano skills to bring life and joy to all who knew her.  She enjoyed entertaining and caring for others, and she always did so with a creative and ever-present loving spirit.  Jane brought attention-to-detail and professionalism to everything she did. 

Jane was a believer in Jesus Christ (John 3:16).  While here, she was a blessing to everyone she knew.  But now, she has gone home to be with the Lord.

Left to cherish Jane’s memory are Gene R. Ball, her husband of 63 years; her loving children, Cynthia R. Martin, Gregory M. Ball, and Dr. Sheldon L. Ball; grandchildren Jeffrey E. Crook and Tiffany R. Martin; great-grandchild Rylee M. Crook; and extended family members.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents Philemon (Phil) E. and Helen D. Neyer, and brother Phil Neyer, Jr.

The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at New Day Church, 17331 Butera Rd., Magnolia, Texas 77355 at 11:00 a.m.
