NORTON — Through the Innovation Center’s Cybersecurity program, northwest Kansas high school students are being fully trained to enter the cybersecurity workforce and obtaining Google certifications—all free of charge!

Here are a few different programs that we have to offer:
Choose this program for students interested in pursuing a comprehensive, in-depth cybersecurity education with strong career potential and support.
• Free, multi-semester, self-paced training in cybersecurity (4–6 semesters).
• Average entry-level salary: $70,000/year.
• Remote job opportunities are common.
• Certifications included:
- Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
-CompTIA Security+ Exam.
• Hands-on learning via EnterpriseKC’s Heartland Cyber Range.
• Option for a paid internship upon graduation.
• One-on-one support for students and live access for school counselors.
• Earn 9 ACE-certified transferable college credits.
• Available to any northwest Kansas student or resident
Choose this program for students who want flexible, online learning and a fast track into high-demand tech fields—with no prior experience needed.
• 100% online, self-paced training (complete in 3–6 months).
• Scholarships cover all certifications and are valid for one year.
• No on-site teacher required; accessible for high school students.
• Most certifications earn 9–15 ACE college credits and meet the KSDE competency requirements for high school credits.
