JoAnn T. Huber, 85, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas.
JoAnn was born January 23, 1936, in La Crosse, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Glenn and Margaret Veronica (Delaney) Seaman. She was a lifelong Rush County, Kansas, resident. A 1953 graduate of La Crosse High School, La Crosse, Kansas, she was a health information clerk for many years at the Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse, Kansas, before her retirement.
On July 29, 1952, she married Robert “Bob” E. Huber. He preceded her in death December 18, 2003.
Survivors include: her son, Randall “Randy” Huber (Julie), La Crosse, Kansas; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Depperschmidt, El Reno, Oklahoma, and Janet Basgall (Virgil), Carson City, Nevada; and one son in law, Tom Moran, McCracken, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Patricia “Patty” Moran, and Diana Huber; an infant daughter, Katherine Huber; one grandson, Phillip Moran; one brother, Charles E. “Chuck” Seaman; and one sister, Virginia “Ginger” Bott.
Per JoAnn’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas.
