Willa Mae Gilkey, 61, died December 11, 2020, at Clara Barton 
Hospital.&nbsp; She was born June 28, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter 
of Harvie Vernon and Atha Mae (Simpson) Gilkey.

A resident of Hoisington moving from Wichita, Willa was a truck driver.

She is survived by four children; John V. Howard of Potwin, Michael 
A. Howard of Wichita, Loretta M. Howard of Hoisington, and Stephanie L. 
Howard of Wichita; a sister, Arnetta Crawford of Wichita; nine 
grandchildren, Michael Jr., Rhiannon, Amanti, Tamari, Lunjai, Z’Kara, 
Ruby, Bruce, and Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Verna Jean Gilkey, Izora S. Gilkey-Dixon, and Carolyn L. Gilkey.
