Hays Post Sports
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released their preseason rankings for the 2025-26 season.
Several area teams are in the rankings including the Hays High girls who are 10th in Class 5A. Western Athletic Conference rival Liberal is ranked 10th in Class 6A. The Quinter girls are ranked third in 1A Division 1. The Oakley girls are the lone Mid-Continent League team ranked at No. 10 in Class 2A.
The Victoria boys are ranked 10th in Class 1A Division 2. Great Bend is the lone Western Athletic Conference team in the polls at No. 4 in Class 5A.
