Hays Police reported that they believe a fugitive they have been seeking is no longer in Hays.
Police reported that they were seeking assistance in locating a violent offender with a probation violation arrest warrant who fled from officers earlier today.
The suspect is a 33-year-old, black male, named Jauwon Antonio Allen. He is 5'07" and around 200 pounds. He has a goatee and may be wearing a white tank top, grey sweatpants, and have a long-sleeve sweatshirt that is blue and red. If you see Jauwon Allen, do not approach him and call 911.
Hays police reported on Facebook that they have resumed normal patrols.
