Donna Jean Schafer, age 88, of Ellis, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Ellis. Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church in Ellis with Pastor John Morley III officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis. Visitation will be Friday 6 PM - 8 PM at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637 and Saturday 9 AM until service time at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Christ Lutheran Church, Humane Society of the High Plains or Hays Veterinary Hospital.
