HAYS, Kan. - Due to this week's forecast in central Oklahoma, the Fort Hays State softball team has announced a change to its schedule. Instead of playing on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 17-18), the Tigers will now take to the diamond on Sunday and Monday (Feb. 20-21).
The Tigers (2-6) will still face off with the same four teams they were initially slated to play. FHSU will open the week against Southern Arkansas (4-6) on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Piedmont High School in Piedmont, Okla. before making the short drive east to Edmond and the University of Central Oklahoma to face off with Arkansas Tech (6-4) at 2:30 p.m. Both of Monday's games will be played at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, with FHSU slated to take on East Central (1-4) at noon before wrapping up the trip against Oklahoma Baptist (6-3) at 2:15 p.m.
