🏈 Tigers again receiving votes in AFCA poll

WACO, Texas – Fort Hays State Football returned to the receiving votes list of the AFCA Top 25 Poll released on Monday, October 7. With the 31-21 win over then No. 12 ranked Central Missouri this past week, the Tigers knocked the Mules from the Top 25 to the receiving votes list as well. FHSU currently owns an overall record of 4-2.

With Central Missouri dropping to the receiving votes list, the MIAA now has three schools listed in the Top 25. Pittsburg State leads the group, ranked No. 7, followed by Central Oklahoma at No. 13 and Emporia State at No. 18. Fort Hays State, Central Missouri, and Northwest Missouri State are all among the receiving votes list.

Fort Hays State plays host to Washburn University this weekend in Hays. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 12) at Lewis Field Stadium.
