Donna Mae Dickerson, 83, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. She was 
born on June 30, 1939, in Newton to Donald and Mildred Gilchrist. Donna 
married Robert Dickerson on November 22, 1958, in Newton. They were 
married for 52 years. Donna graduated from Walton High School 
in Walton, KS. She was a home maker all her life. She was a member of 
Penalosa Methodist Church in Penalosa, KS. She enjoyed KU Basketball, 
Kansas City Chiefs and the KC Royals, and spending time with her 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom kept her busy and she loved 
every minute of it. She is survived by her son, Mark &amp; 
Cathi Dickerson of Broadway, North Carolina; and daughter, Denise &amp; 
Kenny Applegate of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Natasha, Nathan, 
Megan, Chase, Conner, Tyler, Madison, Olivia and Tara; 8 great 
grandchildren; brother, Larry Gilchrist of Hays, Kansas; and sister, 
Karen Gilchrist of Bel Aire, Kansas. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Dickerson; and daughter, Debra Ubert. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will be in Walton, Cemetery, Walton, KS. Memorials may be made to Traditions Hospice of Hutchinson in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.&nbsp;
