WAKEENEY - Ellis' Avery Boydston finished first and Taryn Boydston second in the 5000 meter race at the Trego Cross Country Invitational Thursday. Avery had a time of&nbsp;19:00.47 and Taryn&nbsp;19:09.59.

Plainville's Brilynn Trumpp finished third with a time of&nbsp;20:32.06.

Grace Schmeidler was the top TMP-Marian runner finishing in 30th place (25:32.55).

Ness City's Broxton Gall won the boys race (16:39.47). Quinter had the next three finishers.&nbsp;Carter Pennington was second (17:10.98),&nbsp;Elliot Churchwell third (17:19.67) and Kendrik Selensky fourth (17:21.53)

Mattias Marintzer led the TMP-Marian boys with a time of 18:35.53 and placed 16th.

Hoxie won the girls race, edging Ness City by one point.

Quinter won the boys race with 31 points, 11 better than Ness City.
