Lewis Lee 'Cracker' Martin

Lewis Lee "Cracker" Martin, 79, of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, October 16th. He was retired as an Underwriter with Farm Bureau Financial Services in Manhattan.

Lewis was born in Hill City, Kansas, on July 29, 1942, a son of the late Elsie (Schoolcraft) and William H. Martin. He graduated for Hill City High School, Hill City, and Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science. Lewis also served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.

Lewis is survived by his son, Mike L Martin, of Leawood, KS; three grandchildren, Tag, Merit and Gray Martin; a sister, Bobbie Cameron, of Hill City, KS; three brothers, Willie (Neeann) Martin, of Overland Park, KS; Tommie Martin, of Excelsior Springs, MO; Randy Martin, of Indonesia. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenny Martin.
