Leland H. Mueller, 86, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Parkview Care Center, Osborne, KS.


  Leland was born July 21, 1934 in Athol, KS, the son of Arnold and 
Hilda (Nonamaker) Mueller.&nbsp; Leland joined the U.S. Navy on July 17, 1952
 and was honorably discharged on July 15, 1955.&nbsp; On March 23, 1957 he 
married Thelma Flint in Athol, KS, to this union they were blessed with 
two children, Martyn and Hayley.&nbsp; 

  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Wanda Bandt and Janet Lemon.


  Leland is survived by his wife Thelma Mueller of Smith Center; son 
Martyn (Rebecca) Mueller of Cedar; daughter Hayley (Kent) Gordon of 
Agra; sister Shirley Rudolph of Mankato; brother-in-law Richard Lemon of
 Plainville; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

  
The are no services planned at this time. &nbsp;Private family inurnment will
 take place in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center.&nbsp; Memorials may be given 
to the Leland H. Mueller Memorial Fund or Smith County Library and can 
be sent in care of All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith 
Center, KS&nbsp; 66967.
