The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has released their first set of regular season rankings on Wednesday.
Hays High has three wrestlers ranked. Gavin Meyers is No. 1 at 220, Dalton Dale is fifth at 150 and Gavin Nutting fifth at 285.
In 321A, Plainville has four ranked. Logan Normandin is second at 126, Ben Hansen is third at 182, Kyle Werner fourth at 195 and Draxtin Hovis fourth at 220. Mason Younger of Ellis is sixth at 120 and Hill City’s Aiden Amrein is second at 170 and Ayden Nickelson is fifth at 182.
Hoxie is ranked No. 1in the team rankings, Oakley third, Hill City fourth and Plainville fifth.
Hays High’s Sarah Zimmerman is ranked No. 1 at 109 in the Girls Division I rankings. Kaydawn Haag of Ellis is No. 1 at 138 in Division II. The girls’ are Ellis 10th in the team rankings.
