NORMAN, Okla. - More accolades for former Hays High golf standout Tradgon McCrae. The Missouri Southern senior was named to the PING NCAA Division II All-Region Team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America earlier this week. In late April, McCrae was named the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Year.
2023 Ping Division II All-Region Golf Team
McCrae finished at the top of the 2022-23 MIAA Designated Standings to be crowned the Golfer of the Year. The senior from Plainville, Kan. competed in three of the MIAA's four designated events and placed in the top-five in each of them. McCrae captured the individual title at the 24th Annual NSU Golf Classic, tied for fifth at the Broncho Invitational and was the runner-up at the 2023 MIAA Championship. He led the Lions to a MIAA regular season, a MIAA tournament title and led all MIAA golfers with a season average of 71.7.
