HAYS - Brand Wilson hit two home runs, Sean Keenen and Rayner Beane also went deep to lead the Hays Larks to a 15-4 win and season sweep over the Colorado Lumberjax Saturday at Larks Park.
Wilson hit a three-run homer in the fifth to give the Larks (6-0, 6-0 RMBL) a 5-3 lead. He added another three-run blast in the seventh to push the lead to 11-3. Rayner Beane added a solo homer in the fifth and Sean Keenan hit a three-run shot to cap the Larks scoring in the eighth.
The Lumberjax got a three-run home run from Elias Franier in the top of the first to grab an early 3-0 lead.
Trent Baker (2-0) allowed three runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and one walk over five innings and picked up the win. Carson Liles allowed one run on one hit with two strikeouts and a walk over the next 1 1/3 innings. Max Hedrix pitched the final 1 2/3 innings with four strikeouts and no walks.
Brayden Huebner had three hits, Wilson finished with six RBIs and Keenen had four. Keenen, Max Flowers and Tanner Norman all scored three runs.
