Goodland, KS resident Jose “Joe” Partida passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Topside Manor in Goodland.
Joe was born Sept 1, 1953, to Tomas and Consuelo Partida in Dallas, Texas. He was the fourth of seven children.
Joe moved from Guymon, OK to Goodland in July of 2005 where he met Nancy Farris. On December 21, 2006, Joe and Nancy were married in Goodland. While living here, Joe worked for ADM until he retired in 2019.
Joe loved all of his family from the oldest to the youngest. Apart from his family he loved his Dallas Cowboys and he made sure to let everyone know that he was their biggest fan. He created many memories for everyone and was always telling stories about the good ole days. Joe was known to have a nickname for everyone. If you knew Joe, you probably had a nickname. Joe never met a stranger; he made friends everywhere he went.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Consuelo and Tomas Partida, step- daughter Laramie Farris, and mother-in-law Heyde Babst-Tiede.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Goodland; his beautiful children, Travis Reppart of Pampa, Texas, Kristi Partida of Guymon, Oklahoma, Tessa Baber and husband Brad of Guymon, Oklahoma, Kassidi Zarate and husband Omar of Mustang, Oklahoma; step son Daniel Bagnell of Galata, Montana; six grandchildren, Seth, Brody, Abrie, Oakley, Jentry and Ansley; three brothers, Louis, Alfredo and Tom Jr.; three sisters, Mary, Dolores, Carmen; and 106 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM MT at Koons-Russell Funeral Home in Goodland.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:30 AM MT at the United Methodist Church in Goodland. Burial will be held in the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, KS at 2:30 PM MT on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be designated to the Joe Partida Memorial Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
