
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 50 percent chance of snow in Ellis County overnight Thursday and into Friday morning.
Dodge City NWS forecasters predict possible rain turning to snow this evening as temperatures fall, with a chance of snow all day Friday. Accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible in the Hays area, although the Goodland NWS said up to 3 inches could fall farther west.
Skies are expected to clear Saturday, with a slight chance of additional snow overnight Saturday.
Cooler temperatures will hold on through the weekend, with highs in the low 40s projected through Wednesday.
